Membership & Benefits
Membership in BCN is open to everyone who supports the BCN mission and lives and/or works within 100 miles of Louisville, Kentucky. All members are required to complete a minimum of 6 volunteer hours each year in order to remain on the referral list.
BCN supports the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative (MFCI) created by the Coalition for Improving Maternity Services (CIMS) and requires that ALL members endorse the MFCI. Please read the MFCI document.We offer the following membership levels:
Supporting
Membership (Dues: $25/year)
BCN appreciates your support of our mission in the community. NO referrals
are offered with this level of membership. You have the option of upgrading
your membership to another level at any point during the year. Your dues
are then applied accordingly.

•Invitation to BCN events
Non-Profit
Group Membership (Dues: $50/year)
This is a wonderful opportunity to increase your group’s visibility in
the Kentuckiana area. At this level, your non-profit group receives one referral listing.
Additional benefits include:
•Electronic newsletter
Individual
Membership (Dues: $50/year)
This level entitles you to one or two referral listings. You have no employees
at this level. You may purchase additional referral listings for $15 each.
Additional benefits include:
•Electronic newsletter •Discounted trainings and workshops •Online discussion forum membership •Library/reference
access •Mentor program, if you are interested •Voting privileges
Group/Corporate Membership
(Dues: $125/year)
Your business is defined as a partnership or profitable business of two or more employees.This level entitles to you to one or two referral listings.
Additional benefits include:
•Electronic newsletter •Discounted trainings and workshops •Online discussion forum membership •Library/reference
access •Mentor program, if you are interested•Voting privileges
Benefactor
Membership (Dues: $200 +/year)
This membership level is reserved for individuals, businesses, or organizations who wish to support BCN, but are not interested in reciprocity. This level includes a link to your website on BCN's website.
Additional benefits include:
•Electronic newsletter •Discounted trainings and workshops •Priority advertising opportunities (for a fee) at BCN's events
